The UGC NET Application Form process started from 16th March 2020. Earlier the last date to apply for the exam was 15th June 2020 but now it has been extended till 30th June 2020.

Important Documents for Application Process
Below I have listed the documents that need to be kept ready before filling in the online application form of UGC NET Exam:
- Copy of Board/ University Certificate for Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name and Date of Birth
- Type of Identification – Bank A/c passbook with photograph/ Passport Number/ Ration Card/Aadhaar Card Number/Voter ID Card Number/ Other Govt ID
- Your Mailing Address as well as Permanent Address with Pin Code (Refer Annexure- II for State Code)
- Qualifying Degree Certificate or last semester marks sheet
- Category Certificate, if applicable
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate, if applicable
- Person with Disability (PwD) Certificate, if applicable
- E-mail address and Mobile Number of candidate
- Scanned images in JPG/JPEG format only:
- Candidate’s Photograph must be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Candidate’s Signature (in running hand) must be between 04 kb to 30 kb.
How to Fill UGC NET Application Form
Below is the detailed procedure to fill in the online UGC NET Application Form for June 2020 Exam:
Step-1: Go to the official website of NTA UGC NET.
Step-2: Click on “Fill Online Application Form” button. Now click on “New Registration” and then click on “Click Here to Proceed” button.
Step 3: Now enter your basic details and click on “Submit” button.
Step-4: Complete Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.
Step-5: Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph and Candidate’s Signature in JPG/JPEG format.
Step-6: Make payment of fee through SBI /Syndicate/HDFC /ICICI Payment Gateway (Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking/Paytm) and keep proof of fee paid.
After successfully submitting the UGC NET Application Form, you must take the printout for future reference.
